About the job..
We’re looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer who will have a significant impact on our quickly growing online video platform. While working with our exceptional team of engineers and product experts, you will help deliver a fantastic product for our  users and leave your mark on our company.
What would you do
  • Independent creation & execution of manual and automated tests with different mobile devices, browsers & operating systems
  • Develop and implement product test strategy and test plan and make sure that they are integrated in our CI/CD pipeline
  • Organize QA activities & build a quality oriented culture, work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure that we as teams deliver stable, robust and high-quality products
  • You will own the “bug inbox”, work closely with cross-functional team to ensure bugs are reproduced, fixed and users are happy
  • You will analyze the feedback from the beta customers after the rollout, review daily logs and alerts and turn it into actionable tasks for the dev team
  • You will actively participate in our agile process, analyze features while they are being built, and point our flaws and omissions, especially looking at edge cases
  • Creative and innovative thinking to identify possible future problems
  • Ensure that the acceptance criteria are accurate, clear and well defined, and convert the acceptance criteria into automated tests
  • Documentation and communication of test results
What do you need
  • 2+ years of experience & strong knowledge in building & running tests on iOS and Android-based smartphones/tablets and/or TV Apps
  • You share our passion for software quality and user experience
  • “Quality first” mindset and a low tolerance to imperfections
  • You are passionate about improving the way things are done and stay on top of emerging trends and testing best practice
  • You are familiar with test automation tools & emulators like Selenium, Appium etc.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, dynamic startup environment
  • Excitement to roll up sleeves and make a big impact on a rapidly growing product
  • You are an excellent communicator & able to communicate constantly at all levels
